Gleaning @ Sycamore Farms

Cornell Cooperative Extension Orange County

Come glean with us! Every Thursday, we'll be packing or harvesting produce at Sycamore Farms from 2-4pm! If the location changes, we'll update you via email. All vegetables will be delivered to local food pantries, soup kitchens, and community organizations across the Hudson Valley. IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION: If harvesting, we may use HARVEST KNIVES. Please be aware of this use of SHARP OBJECTS and dress appropriately i.e., closed toe shoes (strongly recommend boots) and appropriate clothing you can move around in and that you don't mind getting dirty. Mobility note: To harvest one has to bend or crouch down. Parking information: Parking is available on site. Once you pull into the driveway, park along the tree line to the right of the white storage shed (seen on your right) Click here to learn more about Sycamore Farms: https://www.facebook.com/people/Sycamore-Farms-Middletown-New-York/100063766891212/ Click here to learn more about our gleaning program: https://cceorangecounty.org/gleaning
