The Clover Cafe offers health-conscious food options for fairgoers, volunteers, and staff, featuring fresh ingredients sourced from local farms. No experience in food service required to volunteer at the Clover Cafe. Breakfast shifts serve fair staff and volunteers only, and the breakfast menu ends once the fairgrounds open to the public.

All Clover Cafe volunteers must complete the food safety and foodborne illness training module in VolunteerMatters before beginning their volunteer shift. Volunteering at the Clover Cafe may involve any of the following situations: knives and other sharp instruments, handling raw or unprocessed consumables, hot surfaces, close physical proximity to others, standing or sitting for long periods, fast-paced service expectations, direct interaction with members of the public, CCE staff, and other volunteers. If you have any questions about accessibility, please contact Maire Ullrich.

We ask that you only register for shifts you are 100% committed to attending. If you must cancel your shift attendance for an emergency reason, please contact Maire Ullrich ASAP.
