Come glean with us! We meet every Tuesday from June-December at the Chester Agricultural Center to re-box already harvested produce donated by Sun Sprout Farm and Halal Pastures. The re-boxed donations will be delivered to local food pantries, soup kitchens, and community organizations across the Hudson Valley. Sign up for as many Tuesdays as you would like! We have a morning and afternoon shift. Parking information: You can park on the side of the wash/pack house. Look for us outside the wash/pack house on the loading dock and we can always direct you! Important note: Where we pack is completely covered so you'll always be in the shade and protected from the elements (e.g., rain)! We will be working outside on an active loading dock. Please wear closed toe shoes and appropriate clothing you can move around in and that you don't mind getting dirty. We highly recommend bringing water to drink. A restroom is accessible.
In the event we cancel a gleaning, an email will be sent.
